About Us

We have a huge range of structural timber & engineered timber products, extensive knowledge of the timber industry & a modern facility with helpful staff.

We deal with a wide range of customers & projects including first & second homes through to executive homes, renovations & extensions, Owner Builders, commercial builders & the mining industry.

We are very proud of the association we have with our major producers. We continue to work very closely with them so we can bring to the market up to date advice & innovative products.

Services

We have a purpose created Scheduling Department to compliment our technical capabilities.

Design We can design your complete building structural needs including Roof Frames, Wall Frames and Floor Frames. All are designed to the relevant Australian Standards.

Efficiency There are many different ways of designing structural Frames. We design your Frames in the most efficient way possible without compromising on structural integrity. When designing these structures we critically assess & select the most competitively priced product for each application. We are focused on providing you with a competitive design.

What do you receive? Once we have designed the Frames, we will provide you with Overlay drawings & a Materials List you will need for construction – both of which are yours to keep. From this Materials List we will provide you with a quotation that will include delivery of all material to your building site.

We charge a small fee for all designs, the Overlay & the Materials List. However, we have found that with our technical knowledge the cost of these are quickly offset by savings created through the efficient use of materials.

What is an Overlay? An Overlay is a set of drawings generated by our computer programs that detail where the components of your Materials List are used in construction. Your carpenter will use the Overlay when constructing your Frames.

How will this help you? We believe in providing complete packages. If we provide the materials as well as design of your structural Frames, this ultimately leads to fewer problems which reduce costs!

Delivery Service We also have an excellent delivery service. Our fleet consists of crane mounted trucks as well as small delivery vehicles for those urgent requirements. We can arrange delivery to any part of our state. So no matter where you are building we will be there to help!

Products

We have an extensive range of structural timber products including treated timber as well as many other products which are needed to complete your project. Our products include:

(1) Engineered Timber Products Materials for high strength applications (e.g. structural beams) such as in long span roof support, double garage opening support & second storey floor support.

We carry Pine LVLs, MAXbeams (Harwood LVLs), Glulam Beams (Oregon, Pine & Hardwood), Steel Universal Beams, Parallel Flange Channels & Durabeams.

(2) Fascia & Barges We carry in stock the standard range of Fascia & Barges in timber & metal & have purpose made non-standard sizes for those special applications.

(3) Claddings, Linings & Floorings We carry & can supply a range of James Hardie product (Scyon & Fibre cement range), Weathertex, panel products (plywood & particle board), timber claddings (Cedar & Pine), timber linings (Cedar, Tassie Oak, Pine & Glosswood) & timber flooring (Jarrah, Tasmanian Oak, Blackbutt & Bamboo).

(4) Decks, Verandahs & Pergolas We carry verandah & pergola materials in Pine (H3 CCA, H4 CCA & LOSP) as well as reeded decking in Kapur, Batu, Jarrah & treated Pine.

We also carry dressed hardwood laminated posts, treated Pine posts, Bushpoles (CCA), Jarrah posts & Steel Duraposts.

We also supply large section structural hardwood.
